Angeline Quinto: Not Competing against Sarah Geronimo

MANILA, Philippines – Star Power Champion Angeline Quinto cleared the issue that there is a growing competition between her and the Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo during her interview in the Buzz.

This is after the trending rumours that allegedly, Sarah Geronimo doesn’t want to be in a production number with Angeline in ASAP Rocks, a Sunday variety show aired in ABS-CBN.

The pop star in an interview confirmed that she felt uncomfortable sharing the stage with star power champion because of the comparison they were receiving from the people who wanted them to be in a clashed. Aside from that, Sarah added that their genre is different, and Sarah admitted that unlike Angeline, she is not a “biritira.” But upon saying that she’s not comfortable doesn’t mean that there is a gap between her and Angeline. In fact, they are in good terms and they are friends.

There had been a lot of issues thrown to the two, but in an interview in the Buzz, Angeline denied all the issues and affirmed that there is no issue between them.

On the issue that she was using Sarah Geronimo to reach her stardom, she stressed that it’s not true.

To recall, the two had been once in a competition during the Star for a Night, which paved way for Sarah Geronimo to be known and became her way to achieve big break in showbiz after emerging as the champion.

And just this year, when the search for the next singing idol in Star Power took place, Angeline’s big break came in wherein she emerged as the best. Now, she got her album and she will be having her first major concert in July.

Talking about her idol, Angeline Quinto is very vocal in admiring the song bird, Regine Velasquez and many had noticed there similarity may it be on the looks and even in the quality of voices.
