A representative from the actress, Jessica Simpson, confirms that she has made a semi-autobiographical comedy to NBC. It’s a based on a pitch to Robin and Nick Bakay (“Paul Blart: Mall Cop”) will be writing the Script.
NBC still, didn’t give any details neither the show’s name nor premiere dates. Co-producing pilots are Universal Television and Electus. Simpson is the executive producer of the show together with her father and manager Joe Simpson, also with Nick Balay and Electus’ Ben Silverman.
Now Jessica is now transforming to a comedy star, and now she’s very excited to work again at NBC and this time in a scripted comedy show.
The actress appeared also on the VH1 documentary reality series “Jessica Simpson’s The Price of Beauty.”
