First sets of the game, Valdez and Ho heats up giving leads to Ateneo, and as predicted they got the first record winning the first set to the scores of 25/23 for Ateneo.
Second sets starts, but Cainglet is yet to be found playing; penalties are already starting as well as issuing timeouts for the Falcons. From the team of Ateneo, Gervacio receives penalty for catching as Valdez and Zapanta of Adamson also receives penalties. Adamson’s Soriano commits service errors same also goes to Pineda receiving also penalties.
Somehow the Blue Eagles manage to give scores for their team. At first, Soriano gave a lead to scores for Adamson as Lebumfacil enters, but was then reversed as Cainglet later entered the game. A win again for the second set for Ateneo 25/23. The records of the games two for Ateneo and nothing for Adamson.
Set 3 is the most thrilling set of the game as Adamson again gives a lead to scores after Soriano attacks but Zapanta receives a penalty. Later Pineda attacks retaining the Falcons for leading the scores. Cainglet’s been blinded by Soriano and Macatuno.
The games were tied later on as Cainglet hits while Pineda gives the Adamson numbers of service errors, but was then reversed as Soriano again gives attacks favor to Adamson. Ateneo then declares a first call to timeout by Coach Gorayeb.
Soon the games came to the thrilling point as the Falcons soon receives a total of 23 points. Ateneo’s Cainglet then is in charge of the service as Valdez enables the attacks. Ateneo later on wraps the scores to a tie of Adamson’s 23.
It became more intense for the crowd as the Blue Eagles creeps the scores to the deciding tie score, 24. But the Falcons, didn’t have a chance as Valdez attacks for Ateneos giving a score of 26/24. Valdez again saves the day for Ateneos. She’s been hired as the “Best Player” of the game. Ateneo will advance to the final games facing La Salle again.
