Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services (PAGASA) claims that next weeks can now be possibly declared to welcome the summer season. Department of Health(DOH), on the other hand, warns for particular diseases this coming summer.
DOH the Big S diseases, the sore eyes, sun burn, ‘sipon and ubo (flu and cough)’, skin rashes, ‘pagsusuka at pagdudmi (vomiting and diarrhea)’, and lastly ‘sakmal ng aso (dog bites)’.
Assistant Secretary of DOH Dr. Eric Tayag promises to hold a rabies vaccination for dogs this summer. He also left a reminder for all mothers that they must let their babies to undergo clinicla vaccination as ordered by the government.
DOH also gave notice for the new vaccine recently launched and they recommend that all babies must get this new vaccine.
