Two Filipino-Chinese businesswomen had made it through to the top 50 businesswomen of Forbe’s Magazine. They are Teresita Sy-Coson and Lourdes Josephine Gotianun-Yap. According to ANC’s news report, these Filipino-Chinese belonged to the second generation of businesswomen that topped at Forbes.
Teresita Sy-Coson, in No. 41 from Forbes, is a 62 year old daughter of a man named Henry Sy which is the Philippine’s most richest man from the country. Teresita is also the Vice Chairman of SM Investments and she is the chairman of the Philippine’s largest bank, Banco De Oro.
On the other hand, Josephine Gotianun-Yap ranks at No. 12 is the CEO and Chairman of PhilInvest Development Corporation and of the PhilInvest Lab. She is a 57 year old businesswoman.
She is also the daughter of the rich man named Andrew Gutianun which ranks the 17th spot for one of the Philippine’s richest man according to Forbes.
